1400 participants covered the length and breadth of the UK, from Shetland to Plymouth from 7am on Friday 1st July until 7pm. Sites they visited included train stations, shopping centre, beaches, car parks and high streets, taking the memorial to contemporary Britain. See where they appeared below.
